CASCADIA COMMUNITY COLLEGE HOSTS OPEN HOUSE AND FAMILY FUN DAY

Bothell, WA - Cascadia Community College announces it will host an Open House for interested members of the public, prospective students and their families. The Open House will take place Saturday, May 7, 2005, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The event will feature presentation sessions on:

Easy steps to starting college
Financial aid opportunities
Study Abroad programs

Cascadia students and staff will be available to give tours of the beautiful new campus and to answer specific questions from interested students or parents. Summer class schedules will be available, as well as information about Cascadia academic, professional-technical and Community Education programs.

The campus, located at the intersection of I-405 and SR-522, is home to the newest community college in Washington, as well as the co-located University of Washington, Bothell.

The Open House is offered on a quarterly basis. Tours will be given of the campus. Door prizes and light refreshments will be offered.

Family Fun day activities will also take place on the campus that day. Games and activities are planned in the Northcreek Café on campus from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Families with children of all ages are welcome. There is no charge for attendance.
