Meet Cascadia's New Director of  Community Education

Bothell, WA - Cascadia Community College is pleased to announce that Ray Kubista has joined the staff as the Director of Community Education.  Mr. Kubista comes to Cascadia following nearly seven years with Bellevue Community College, most recently as Assistant Director of the Business Training Institute.

Community Education at Cascadia has a unique opportunity to work with the businesses and organizations within a vibrant service area,” Kubista commented shortly after his arrival.   “We are positioned to create many new positive relationships, while working jointly with the many existing partners.  I am excited to have been given this opportunity and look forward to working with such a talented group of people.

Kubista holds a Bachelor of Arts in English & Secondary Education from Western Washington University, and volunteered for two years as a Peace Corps member in Estonia.

Cascadia’s Community Education programs offer non-credit courses for anyone looking to update their business training or learn a new skill, hobby or art form. Classes are offered at Cascadia and at off-campus sites easily accessible to residents of North King and South Snohomish County.
