Cascadia Community College Invites Public to Presentation by Visitng Scholar from Algeria
Bothell, WA - Cascadia Community College will host a presentation by Professor Hamza Zeghlache, a Fulbright Visiting Specialist, Professor of the History of Islamic Architecture at the University of Setif, Algeria. He will appear in the North Creek Café on Friday, October 13, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. There is no charge to attend.
Professor Zeghlache will speak on Contributions to Western Society by the Muslim World. The presentation will be approximately 45 minutes in length and conclude with a brief question and answer period.
Professor Zeghlache’s presentation is part of a three-week Fulbright visit sponsored by Cascadia Community College, during which he will speak to college classes, exchange views with faculty and community leaders, and take part in a number of cultural experiences in the area.
“We are honored and excited to host Professor Zeghlache,” said Dr. Bill Christopher, President of Cascadia. “Cascadia Community College is committed to fostering a global perspective among our students and in our community, and this is an important part of that on-going initiative.”
