- explored the concepts of culture, multiculturalism and communication: student demonstrated ability to take information from interviews and relate to class topics
- examined your personal culture and its relation to perceptions: student able to understand how their own perceptions impact the interview and interpretation
- demonstrated a willingness to be open to new and differing attitudes and behaviors: student demonstrated openness to listen to and consider interviewees’ ideas about race, ethnicity, and stereotypes
Communicate with Clarity and Originality
- have worked on developing effective means to communicate in various forums: student successfully completed interviews and created interesting, informative presentation
- be able to articulate the interrelations of culture, multiculturalism, and communication: student clearly demonstrates understanding of the connection between interviewees’ attitudes and their culture
