Board of Trustees

The college is governed by a Board of Trustees, which is appointed by the Governor. Cascadia's Board of Trustees meets on a monthly basis.

Kirstin Haugen, Appointed January 2007.
An Account Executive, AT&T Portfolio, Mercury, LLC in Seattle. Lead Legislative Aide from 2004-2006 for King County Councilmember Bob Ferguson. Ms. Haugen received a B.A. in English from the University of Washington. In addition Ms. Haugen is a Board Member for the Northshore Performing Arts Center, and a Democratic Precinct Committee Officer, Windsor Precinct, Bothell.

Jean Magladry, Appointed December 2003. Reappointed in November 2007.
Current Board Vice Chair.
Attorney at law, Magladry Weigel, P.S. J.D., Gonzaga Law School; B.A., in History, University of Maryland. Former Washington State Trial Lawyers Board of Directors, Co-chairs Women of WSTLA (WOW), Member of the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association and the Oregon State Bar Association.

Mike Martino, Chair Appointed November 2004.
President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director. Mr. Martino joined Sonus Pharmaceuticals in September 1998 as President, Chief Operating Officer and a Director and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in July 1999. Mr. Martino received a B.A. in business from Roanoke College and an M.B.A. from Virginia Tech. In addition, Mr. Martino is a past Chairman of the Board of the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association (WBBA).

Roy Wilkinson, Appointed November 2004.
A Boeing machinist union member, Eagle and American Legion member. Mr. Wilkinson has worked for Boeing since 1977 after serving four years in the U.S. Navy. Over the past 25 years, he has served as an active member of the International Association of Machinists District 751-E. He has served as a trustee, vice president and is currently legislative chair for his local and a delegate to the King County and Washington State Labor Councils.

Mark Wolfram, Appointed January 1999. Reappointed in October 2004.
General Manager, Venture Integration, Microsoft Corporation; M.A. International Economics from John Hopkins; B.A. International Studies;  member of the Executive Peer Group in Washington (high technology businesses) and Finance committee.
