  • Community Education offers many courses that promote personal and/or career growth. These non-credit classes are offered at various dates, times and locations throughout Northeast King and Southeast Snohomish counties. Topics include art, computer applications, crafts, dance, food, health, home, garden, language, music and writing.

    Computers/Information Technology
    Cascadia offers computer classes for the beginners, intermediate and advanced computer users. Learn Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop and Outlook. 

    Web Design
    Courses in HTML, Web Design using Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash are also available for those looking to build or modify websites.  All computer classes are instructor led, hands-on and include materials.  Recently, online classes were also added for students who are interested in self paced classes.  Be sure to visit our schedule of classes to find a complete list of course.

    Lifelong Learning
    Lifelong Learning classes provide fun opportunities to learn new cooking techniques, refine dance steps, develop a flair for crafts, and much more. These classes are offered at Cascadia’s campus in Bothell, as well as locations throughout the community. Offered in the evening, weekends and daytime, Lifelong Learning classes provide the perfect opportunity to become a student again, without the pressure of exams. These classes can enrich someone’s life by adding fun, creativity and interaction with neighbors. Cascadia partners with the area school districts and other local educational and service organizations to enhance the Community Education opportunities available to the community.

    Education to Go (Ed2Go)
    Cascadia Community College in partnership with Education to Go (Ed2Go) offers online non-credit classes that focus on building and upgrading skills. Ed2Go provides certificates of completion for each course. Courses start on Wednesdays each month and run for six weeks with a two-week grace period. Class fee is $99 per class unless otherwise indicated. For details and a complete list of classes visit our website at www.ed2go.com/cascadia. Note: Twenty-four (24) clock hour credits are available for each course unless otherwise indicated. An additional $20 fee is required for clock hour credit, call to sign up for clock hour credit please call our office BEFORE the class begins at 425-352-8862.

    Online Certification Classes
    Our online career-training certificate programs’ content and materials are provided by Gatlin Education Services—the leader in online certification programs. These programs assist students in developing expertise in their desired career fields and/or preparing for industry certification exams. Although each course is self-study, each online course has an instructor assigned to answer student questions and solve student problems. Each program has specific learning outcomes related to industry standards. Classes are ongoing so students can enroll at any time at www.gatlineducation.com/cascadia.

    Community Education offers arts and craft courses including painting, jewelry making, drawing, sculpting and many more.

    Dance & Music
    Take a guitar class or learn to dance. Life is about more than just work these classes encourage the fun side of life.

    Financial Management
    Community Education offers arts and craft courses including painting, jewelry making, drawing, sculpting and many more.

    Food & Fun
    Classes in this category include dinning, food preparation and even wine tasting!

    Health & Wellness
    Learn to take care of yourself with home remedies or reduce stress with yoga or Pilates.

    Cascadia Community College is pleased to partner with Kirkland Arts Center (KAC) to provide art classes for clock hour credit.     Need to learn a language for fun, travel or work? These language classes have no tests just lots of fun!
