About Cascadia

Learning happens here.

Proven learning environment

Cascadia’s approach to teaching is based on research showing how students really learn. It prepares you for active lifelong learning in a global context, whether your program is in a technical field, business, or the liberal arts. Working in small groups, you’ll develop the ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, make decisions, and interact with others with diverse viewpoints.

As a Cascadia Community College student, you’ll you’ll attend classes on a beautiful campus, equipped with state-of the-art technology, that Cascadia shares with the University of Washington Bothell. You’ll also have access to the world-class University of Washington library system.

High academic standards and dedicated faculty

By completing a 2-year degree at Cascadia Community College, you’ll be well prepared to choose from a wide variety of academic majors: Three in 4 Cascadia students transfer to a 4-year college or university. Their success comes partly from the more personal academic experience that Cascadia offers. Teachers work closely with students in small classes and in groups working on collaborative projects. Meanwhile, tuition at Cascadia Community College costs significantly less than tuition at a 4-year college.

Paths to the fastest-growing job fields

Programs at Cascadia Community College lead you to the careers where employers will need you most. Our programs are coordinated, so you can start with a single class or a 1-year certificate program, then apply the credits toward a more advanced certificate or transfer degree if and when you choose. If you’re an employer, we’ll customize a training program for your business.
