Interim Dean for Student Success Services

Ms. Blakeney oversees the admissions office (New Student Welcome Center). She has been at Cascadia since 2001 and worked with Student Activities and International Programs prior to her current role.  Before coming to Cascadia, Ms. Blakeney worked at a variety of institutions, including Boston College, San Jose State University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Highline Community College. She has held leadership positions in professional organizations such as the National Association for Student Personnel Administrators, the National Association for Campus Activities, and the Washington State Council of Unions and Student Programs. Ms. Blakeney holds a master’s in higher education administration from Boston College and a bachelor’s in child development from San Jose State University.
