Vice President for Student Learning and Success 

Dr. Sunny Burns provides leadership for academic and professional technical programs and student support services. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA, a Master of Science in Community College Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Parks and Recreation Administration from Eastern Washington University. She has developed many new programs, providing access for students to meet their educational goals. Dr. Burns has previously held the positions of Vice President of Instruction at Lake Washington Technical College, Vice President for Learning and Student Success at Pierce College, Vice President of Instruction at Bates Technical College, and Vice President of Student Services at Spokane Community College. Off-work she enjoys the great northwest through outdoor recreational activities; kayaking, hiking, and bicycling.
