Director of Student Financial Services

Ms. Smith had 8 years of experience in education when she joined Cascadia in 2006. She came to Cascadia from Ashmead College, where she was the director of finance. Before Ashmead, she worked for the Art Institute of Seattle and the University of Phoenix Washington campus, where she assisted with many aspects of financial aid, including processing federal and state grants; Stafford, Plus, and Perkins loans; counseling students on their financial options; and compliance with federal auditing standards. As admissions advisor with the University of Phoenix, she was also involved in operations and admissions. Ms. Smith holds a bachelor’s in business and management from the University of Phoenix.
