Speech Communication

Ms. Danielle Powell is a full-time, tenured faculty member at Cascadia Community College.  She holds a Master of Arts in Communication and a Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from James Madison University. Ms. Powell has extensive college level teaching experience in the communication field, having taught at James Madison University, Wake Forest University, Elon University, University of Mary Washington, Davidson County Community College, and Germanna Community College. She is a member of the National Communication Association.  In addition to her teaching experience, Ms. Powell has worked with two non-profit organizations and holds a non-profit management certificate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
