Solar Array for the GLA

Cascadia Community College is proud of its Global Learning and the Arts building (also known as GLA and CC3). It houses our elegant event center, state-of-the-art classrooms, international programs, and faculty offices. It also functions as a living green laboratory for students enrolled in our innovative environmental technology courses.  It is our campus masterpiece. There's just one thing missing...

CC3 Building

Please help us adorn the roof with solar panels!

Cascadia is committed to raising $200,000 for the purchase and installation of photovoltaic solar panels for the roof of our GLA building. The panels will generate 27,000 watts of clean, renewable energy. Not only will this help us secure our LEED platinum certification, but it will also enhance Cascadia’s solar energy certificate program and complement our campus dashboard, which allows students to monitor and measure energy generation and use. Please consider making a donation at one of the following levels and help us achieve our goal:

Thanks to our invaluable partnerships with individuals and industries, Cascadia Community College is pioneering a national model for higher education in environmental sustainability. In addition to offering associate degrees and certificates in environmental and renewable energy technologies, Cascadia creates authentic field opportunities for its students, helps to maintain a 58-acre urban wetland, and adheres to green practices campus-wide.

Please make your check payable to Cascadia Community College Foundation and indicate solar in the notes field.
