Relationship Violence Awareness

On average, 24 people per minute are victims of rape, physical violence or stalking by an intimate partner in the United States — more than 12 million women and men over the course of a year, according to The National Domestic Violence Hotline. 58% of College student say they don’t what to do to get help for themselves or others who are dealing with dating abuse. From February 12th-16th join Cascadia College in taking a look at relationship violence and learn more about what resources are available to those who are suffering, or have suffered, from abuse.

Wear Orange 4 Love Day

 

Tell the world why you wear orange with hashtags #Orange4Love and #teenDVmonth. Wear Orange 4 Love Day is on the second Tuesday of February and was started by the National Youth Advisory Board from loveisrespect.org to raise awareness about teen dating abuse.
