Current Equipment

Cascadia students have access to Dell Optiplex 280, Dell Optiplex 740, and Dell Optiplex 620 computers throughout the campus. The 280 has a single-core 3.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 128MB graphics card, and the 740 and 620 have dual-core 2.6GHz+ processors, 2GB of RAM, and 256MB graphics cards.

With this equipment Cascadia students have more than enough processing power to complete projects for any technology-focused degree.

Upgrades

Cascadia Community College is committed to ensuring that it maintains its foothold in equipping the campus with advanced technology. The student computers on campus are on a staggered 3-year replacement schedule which is partly funded by a student-approved technology fee. The operating systems and core applications are also upgraded on a regular basis to keep students up-to-date with the software used in the business world and in Cascadia classes.
