Personal Readiness

Visit Ready.gov for more information about developing your own personal preparedness plan.

Personal readiness can be as simple as knowing the evacuation plan for your home area or keeping safety equipment at the ready - like a whistle and key light. It can be as elaborate as storing supplies at work for overnight stay and stocking the home pantry for a year.

It is equally important that you have a plan for you and your family.  For more information visit Who Depends on You.

Help your family, friends, and loved-ones stay informed.  Develop an Out of Area Communications Plan.  Make sure this Cascadia web page is included in your plan.
