Work in Small Groups
You'll find classes throughout Cascadia's curriculum that require you to work in groups on a variety of projects.
We believe that all students need to develop the ability to work effectively in small groups. Here's why:
- Extensive research on teaching and learning show that students must know how to work and interact collaboratively to survive in a complex, interdependent and increasingly international world.
- Employers consistently tell us that in jobs of all kinds, the ability to communicate, solve problems, make decisions, and interact with diverse people and viewpoints in a group setting is critical to success in the workplace.
Teamwork furthers each of Cascadia's learning outcomes and prepares you for success wherever you work.
