2018 Commencement Information

General Information

  • Tickets not required.
  • Limited covered seating available.
  • Free parking in the garages and designated lots only from 2:00p-6:30p

Participants

All students who will complete their degrees and certificates by the end of Summer Quarter 2018 are invited to attend the ceremony. Graduates can begin checking in for the ceremony at 2pm. All graduates must be checked in by 3pm in Mobius Hall.

Graduation Regalia

All graduates will wear caps and gowns. Graduation regalia is purchased through the Campus Bookstore. Cost is $48 and will be available for purchase after May 29th. Wear appropriate clothing under your gown. Due to the ceremony taking place on grass, high heeled shoes are
not recommended. A small number of gowns are available to be borrowed. To inquire about borrowing a gown, please email rriopel@cascadia.edu. Bothell High School caps and gowns are similar and can be worn if those have already been purchased or can be borrowed.

Honors Cords

Pick up at the graduation check-in table before the ceremony on June 8th. Gold cords are for President’s Honors and Silver for Faculty Honors.
Graduates will only receive the cords for their highest achievement at time of graduation.

Phi Theta Kappa Members

Pay for and pick up the traditional Honor Stole at the front counter in Kodiak Corner. Cost is $24.

Student Disability Accommodations

Students should contact Disability Support Services at 425.352.8128 or disabilities@cascadia.edu to request additional accommodations by
May 25th. ASL interpreters will be present at the ceremony.

Photographer at Ceremony

For those interested in professional photos, Grad Images will be taking photos at the ceremony. Students can request to receive more information
via email the day of graduation.

Seating at Ceremony

All seating is first come, first served. If you require wheelchair accessible seating, please email rriopel@cascadia.edu by June 4th to make arrangements.
