Cascadia Community College is a two-year institution offering degree,
certificate and other programs. The majority of our students pursue a two-year
Associate Degree and then transfer to a four-year college or university for
bachelor degree studies.

English Language
Program (Intensive Academic English)

COMMITTMENT: We are deeply committed to the success of each
of our students and we are always available to answer questions and help you
with challenges.

highly-qualified, experienced instructors who are dedicated to your
success.

PROGRAM: We provide an innovative communicative program
with a strong emphasis on academic preparation for college success.
We offer 20-hours a week of intensive academic
English and five levels of instruction in academic reading, writing,
speaking, listening and grammar. In addition to traditional language skills,
we teach our students the cultural and academic skills that will be required
for their success as they move into academic credit classes.

ACTIVITIES: We create many opportunities for our ELP
students to interact with students on our campus, including conversation
partners, student learning communities, social events, and a very active
International Club.

ADMISSION: We do not require TOEFL, or any other
standardized test scores, for admission to the English Language Program.
Each student will be tested and placed in the appropriate level during the
first week of the program.

- Associate in Science (Engineering, Computer Science,
Biological Sciences, Chemistry, and more!)
Cascadia's degree programs are designed to serve as the first two years of a four-year bachelor degree. Cascadia's degrees include an Associate Degree in Integrated Studies (AIS), an
Associate in Science (AS) and an Associate in Applied Science (AAS). The AIS is
a good match for students looking to pursue a variety of liberal arts majors
after transferring to a university. With our Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA), the courses you take at Cascadia will satisfy the General Education Requirements of most public colleges and Universities in Washington State. Visit

Professional Technical Certificates are available through our short-term certificate programs for various areas of computer technical knowledge.
These certificates prepare students for employment by increasing their
