Academic Programs

Cascadia Community College is a two-year institution offering degree, certificate and other programs. The majority of our students pursue a two-year Associate Degree and then transfer to a four-year college or university for bachelor degree studies.

English Language Program (Intensive Academic English)

  • COMMITTMENT: We are deeply committed to the success of each of our students and we are always available to answer questions and help you with challenges.
  • INSTRUCTORS: We have highly-qualified, experienced instructors who are dedicated to your success.
  • PROGRAM: We provide an innovative communicative program with a strong emphasis on academic preparation for college success.

We offer 20-hours a week of intensive academic English and five levels of instruction in academic reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar. In addition to traditional language skills, we teach our students the cultural and academic skills that will be required for their success as they move into academic credit classes.
  • ACTIVITIES: We create many opportunities for our ELP students to interact with students on our campus, including conversation partners, student learning communities, social events, and a very active International Club.
  • ADMISSION:  We do not require TOEFL, or any other standardized test scores, for admission to the English Language Program. Each student will be tested and placed in the appropriate level during the first week of the program.
  • TUITION:  We offer very competitive pricing.   Click here for tuition costs.
  • APPLICATION:  We look forward to welcoming you to our friendly and beautiful campus in Bothell, Washington! Click here for an application.

Degree Programs

We have 2-year Associate degrees in the following areas:

  • Associate in Business
  • Associate in Integrated Studies
  • Associate in Pre-Nursing
  • Associate in Science (Engineering, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, and more!)

Cascadia's degree programs are designed to serve as the first two years of a four-year bachelor degree. Cascadia's degrees include an Associate Degree in Integrated Studies (AIS), an Associate in Science (AS) and an Associate in Applied Science (AAS). The AIS is a good match for students looking to pursue a variety of liberal arts majors after transferring to a university. With our Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA), the courses you take at Cascadia will satisfy the General Education Requirements of most public colleges and Universities in Washington State. Visit Degree Programs for more information.

Certificate Programs

Professional Technical Certificates are available through our short-term certificate programs for various areas of computer technical knowledge. These certificates prepare students for employment by increasing their professional skills.  Visit Certificate Programs for more information.
