Scholarships for International Students  

Picture of 5 students and Cascadia College presidentCascadia College is pleased to offer new and current Cascadia international students the opportunity to apply for Global Achievement Scholarships. Global Achievement Scholarships will be distributed to recipients after the 30th day of the quarter in which they applied for the scholarship. All scholarship applications must be submitted by the deadline in order to be considered for selection.


New Student Scholarships are a one-time disbursement of $1,000 and Current Student Scholarships are a one-time disbursement of $500.

The International Diversity Scholarship This was created to welcome our new international students and help ensure that they make up a vibrant and growing part of the Cascadia community.

The Global Achievement Scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated strong academic achievement, and outstanding talent or achievements in one or more of the following areas: Academic Merit, Leadership, and/or Community Service.

 Eligibility

Applicant must be a new or transfer (within the United States) international  students on an F-1 visa who have been accepted to Cascadia College, but have not yet taken any classes.

 Eligibility

  • Applicant must be a new or transfer (within the United States) international  students on an F-1 visa who have been accepted to Cascadia College, but have not yet taken any classes.
  • Applicants are required to be enrolled in classes for the next academic quarter.
  • Applicants may only receive the Global Achievement Scholarship in Academic Merit once per academic year (Summer-Spring), but are eligible to apply for the Global Achievement Scholarship in Leadership and/or Community Service in spring.

    Please write neatly and be sure to answer all questions.
  • Personal Statement (Required).
    All applicants will be required to provide a personal statement (500 words max). Please see application for topic question.
  • Recommendation Form (Optional).
    You can have up to two (2) teachers/counselors (High School/University) complete the recommendation form.

  • Unofficial Cascadia Transcript (Required)

IMPORTANT: Awards will not be distributed until registration is closed and we have confirmed that the awardee is registered for a full course of study (12+ credits).

Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
