Global Achievement Scholarships

   Scholarships for International Students 

 

Cascadia College is pleased to offer new and current Cascadia international students the opportunity to apply for Global Achievement Scholarships. Global Achievement Scholarships will be distributed to recipients after the 30th day of the quarter in which they applied for the scholarship. All scholarship applications must be submitted by the deadline in order to be considered for selection. New Student Scholarships are a one-time disbursement of $1,000 and Current Student Scholarships are a one-time disbursement of $500.

Eligibility requirements: 

  • Applicants must be new international students on an F-1 visa who have been accepted to Cascadia, but have not yet enrolled in classes.

 

  • International students who are transferring to Cascadia from another school in the United States are eligible. 

 


 Application Materials: 

To apply for the Global Achievement Scholarships, please submit the following items:

  • Completed application form. Please write neatly and be sure to answer all questions. 
  • Personal statement. On a separate sheet of paper, please answer the following question: (500 words maximum)
    • What is the value of  studying at Cascadia College? 
  • Two (2) recommendations. Please use the attached recommendation forms.

Eligibility requirements: 

  • Applicants must be F-1 international students who have completed at least one quarter of classes at Cascadia, and have enrolled in classes for the next academic quarter. 

 

  • International students who are enrolled in the ELP program and/or in college classes are eligible.

  • Personal statement. On a separate sheet of paper, please answer the following question: (500 words maximum)
    • What is something important that you have learned or discovered as a Cascadia student, and how will you be able to use this new learning or discovery in your future?
  • Two (2) recommendations. Please use the attached recommendation forms. At least one recommendation form must be completed by a Cascadia teacher.
  • Unofficial Cascadia transcript.

Application deadlines:

 
Summer quarter:    May 15
Fall quarter:    August 15
Winter quarter:  November 15
Spring quarter:   February 15
