Associate in Science-Transfer (AS-T) Track 2 Engineering MRP*: Mechanical, Civil Aeronautical, Industrial, and Materials Science Engineering (Other Engineering)

Faculty and students with engineering project

The associate in science-transfer (AS-T Track 2): Other Engineering MRP* is a major-related program (part of the Direct Transfer Agreement) that prepares you to transfer to a 4-year college or university in any of various engineering majors. Admission requirements vary, so consult with an academic advisor about the specific requirements of the engineering school you want to attend.

Degree Requirements

This degree requires at least 105 credit hours in college level courses (numbered 100 or above), a minimum of 25 credits completed at Cascadia, a minimum cumulative 2.0 grade point average (GPA), and completion of all degree requirements listed below (see the Distribution Courses for more details).

Engineering is a broad field; one course of study will not prepare you for study in all the subdisciplines in the field. Cascadia therefore offers “pathways” of study within the associate in science in engineering. The same 2.0 GPA requirement that applies to the engineering degree in general applies to the pathways.

For complete details about degree requirements for this pathway, see the associate in science-transfer (AS-T Track 2): mechanical, civil, aeronautical, industrial, and materials science engineering degree sheet.

You must complete and submit an application for graduation with your graduation fee payment for review and approval by Enrollment Services.

*If the student takes MATH 264 as an elective AND two approved courses from Innovation in Design, 3D Visualization and CAD, Thermodynamics, Electrical Circuits, or Materials Science at another institution, they will qualify for the Major Ready Pathway agreed to by the Washington State Community Colleges and other four-year colleges.
