Financial Aid and Scholarships for Study Abroad

Financial aid and scholarships are available for study abroad — but it takes extra time to process aid for study abroad students, so be sure to apply early!

 

 

What to Do How to Do It
Step 1. Apply for financial aid. Go to How to Apply for Financial Aid and follow all steps to apply for federal and state aid.
Step 2. Meet with Cascadia's study abroad coordinator.

Contact the study abroad coordinator at international@cascadia.edu to schedule an appointment.
 

 

The coordinator will review details of the program costs and payment deadlines with you.
 

 

To complete the application:

 

  • Download the study abroad application [PDF]
  • Fill out the form, write your essay, and submit other supporting documents as specified on the form

 

Step 3. Apply for scholarships.

Apply for scholarships specifically for study abroad:

 

 

If you qualify for a Pell Grant, apply for the Gilman Scholarship:

 

 

These steps may change from year to year, depending on the study abroad programs offered.
