Cascadia offers several degrees that prepare you to transfer to a 4-year college or university and pursue a bachelor’s degree in a health care related field. The certificate in phlebotomy prepares you to enter the field as an allied health professional.

Health Care Professionals

We plan our selection of programs to begin preparation for careers in fast growing areas of health care. Employment in nursing alone is expected to grow over 25% through 2016, due in part to an aging population's increased need for medical care.

Careers in Health Care

Doctors and nurses are in demand, especially as primary care providers and in medically underserved inner city and rural areas. Health care professionals work in a variety of organizations and settings, including:

  • Hospitals
  • Community health programs
  • Doctors’ offices
  • Medical schools
  • Research laboratories

If you are interested in helping people live healthier, happier lives, you may want to pursue a career in health care by starting at Cascadia and transferring to complete a bachelor’s degree at a 4-year college or university.
