IMPORTANT: To avoid missing your class, look for the code OL on your registration confirmation.  

If you don’t see the code OL, go to the instructions for your class type: hybrid (H) or WAOL (OLW).  

Online Classes Welcome Letter

Every quarter we send out this letter to students who have registered in an online course for the upcoming quarter.

Before Classes Begin

Prepare for class: Test your access to the class website, do the Week Zero tutorial, buy your textbooks, and make a backup plan for attending class online.

First Day of a Cascadia Online Class

Log in to your class website. Most classes start on the ANGEL online course system. It is your obligation to log in to the class on the first day — don’t wait for an email message from your instructor.

Online classes require regular participation. If you find that you can’t participate regularly, let your instructor know right away.   

Help with Cascadia Online Classes

The first 2 weeks of an online class can be the most challenging weeks of the quarter. Don’t give up. If you have trouble, look here for help.
