Refund Policies for Withdrawal from State-Funded Credit Classes

If you reduce your class load or completely withdraw from all of your classes, you will receive a tuition refund if you withdraw:

• Due to class cancellation by the college (100% refund)
• On or before the fifth day of instruction for the quarter (excluding weekends and holidays) in person see Kodiak Corner Office Hours or 9:30 PM online (100% refund)
• Beginning on the sixth day of instruction through the 20th calendar day of the quarter in person see Kodiak Corner Office Hours or 9:30 PM online (50% refund)

Refund dates are prorated for summer quarter.  See Kodiak Corner Office Hours for current hours.

No refunds are given to students who are dismissed for disciplinary reasons, who do not follow the official withdrawal procedures, or who withdraw after the 20th calendar day of the quarter (summer quarter dates are prorated).

Process for Refunds

Refunds are processed automatically when students drop or withdraw from classes. However, refunds are not calculated or disbursed until after the 100% and 50% drop dates. If payment was made by:

• Cash, check, or financial aid, a refund check will be mailed in 4-6 weeks
• Credit or debit card, a refund will be posted to the account within 10 business days
