The technical support specialist certificate program will help you gain the skills you will need to provide technical support on basic software and hardware issues to customers and employees. You will learn to:

  • Troubleshoot and solve technical problems
  • Use resources to find solutions
  • Work patiently and efficiently with technology users who urgently need your help

 

Certificate Requirements

Complete all of the following courses:

 

BIT 101 Computer Basics 2 7 credits
BIT 102 Network Design Concepts (with Cisco 1) 5 credits
BIT 105 Careers in Information Technology 2 credits
BIT 112 Basics of Web Authoring 5 credits
BIT 126 Network Client Systems 5 credits

 

Choose a combination of courses in this series for a total of 6 credits:

BIT 150 –161 Self-paced Instructional Modules 1 credit each

 

Total minimum credits required: 30
