This Certificate Prepares You For...

The web applications certificate program provides an overview of web application development with a focus on ASP.NET and SQL Server development. This program is right for you if you have some previous programming experience and want to learn the current .NET application framework with C#. You will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Designing data-driven web applications
  • Accessing a database securely
  • Developing three-tier application architecture

 

Certificate Requirements

Complete all of the following courses:

 

BIT 142 Intermediate Programming 5 credits 
BIT 285 Application Programming 5 credits
BIT 286 Web Applications 5 credits

 
 

Complete one of the following 2 courses:

 

BIT 197 BIT Work-Based Learning I
 2 credits 
BIT 297 BIT Work-Based Learning II 2 credits
