Buildings locked effective Thursday, March 19

REGISTRATION FOR spring QUARTER 2021 begins february 8, 2021
Spring Quarter registration will open for continuing students beginning Monday, February 8. Class schedules available through your ctcLink student portal www.cascadia.edu/ctcLink. Questions building your class schedule? Visit with an advisor during drop-in sessions: www.cascadia.edu/virtual.
Activities & recreation Center (ARC) - fitness center now open (limited)
The ARC Fitness Center is back open ! All students MUST register for a workout time prior to visiting, and adhere to all COVID-19 guidelines. Go to myarc.uwb.edu and click on Fitness Center access to register for a workout time. Fitness Center reservations cannot be made more than 24 hours in advance. The Bock Learning Center Zoom Tutoring: The Learning Center’s services have moved online. All of the usual offerings are conveniently located in Canvas, including graphing calculator check-out forms, writing, STEM, Japanese, and Spanish tutoring via Zoom, and more. Access the Canvas site here! |

Counseling: The Counseling Center provides mental health counseling services to students currently registered for classes at UWB or Cascadia College. Virtual Office Hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 12noon and from 1pm - 4pm. To schedule an appointment, please call 425.352.3183. |
Kodiak Cave: Curbside pick-up & delivery NOW available. Using the current Curbside Pick Up Form, you will now have the option to choose curbside pickup or delivery. Delivery will be available on Thursdays, 10:00 am-2:00 pm. All delivery orders must be placed by Wednesdays at 12:00 pm. Please note that the student ordering must be present at the pickup location and show valid ID. |
Library: While the library building is closed, many services are available online. Visit the library’s Online Learning Support guide for information about accessing online library materials and services. 24/7 Chat with a Librarian service provides immediate research help. Visit COVID-19 Updates for changes to the availability of on-campus library services or information about book returns, due dates, and fines. |

Technology Support
Internet accessComcast Low-to-No-Cost Internet: In response to emergency measures associated with Coronavirus (COVID-19), Internet Essentials will increase speeds from 15/2 Mbps to 25/3 Mbps for all customers. This speed increase will happen automatically - no action is required by customers. In addition, new customers will receive two months of free service. Comcast Offers Free WiFi Hot Spots:Comcast will open up about 65,000 hot spots for free, public use in Washington, McDonald said. There’s a total of about 1.6 million hot spots — public and private — in the state. Washington State FREE Drive-In Wifi Hotspots:In response to the impacts of COVID-19, Washington State is providing over 300 free temporary, emergency internet access for Washingtonians who do not have broadband service to their homes. Access is available to all residents with specific emphasis on remote learning for students. Additionally, this service can be used for job searches, telehealth, telework, unemployment filing, and census participation. Temporary Access to Adobe Applications for Home Use: Pending approval from Adobe, Cascadia Information Services should have more information to share at www.cascadia.edu/helpdesk prior to the start of Spring Quarter. |

Financial & Community Resources
Aroha Compassion Grant - emergency fundsStudents who encounter emergency circumstances that present a barrier to attending school or achieving their academic goals may apply for emergency financial assistance through the Cascadia College Foundation. Emergency grants award up to $1,000 for a variety of one-time/short-term expenses. Contact the CARE team online or at careteam@cascadia.edu to discuss your situation and apply. |
