Members of the Board
The Cascadia College board of trustees is an agency of the State of Washington and derives its authority as described in Revised Code of Washington (RCW) Chapter 28B.
Dr. Colleen Ponto, Chair
Dr. Ponto, a resident of Kenmore, is a senior leadership and organizational effectiveness consultant with Unify Consulting and since 2020 has been embedded at Seagen, a global biotechnology company headquartered in Bothell. Her current work focuses on leadership development and change management. She also brings considerable experience in higher education including service as a faculty member at Seattle University and as a Dean at Pinchot University. Dr. Ponto has been instrumental in community activities including building the playground and offering environmental education at St. Edward State Park.
Dr. Meghan Quint, Vice Chair
Dr. Quint, a resident of Bothell, is a healthcare leader with deep experience in corporate strategy, innovation, and product. She is a founding executive at Opala, a venture-backed healthcare interoperability startup, and she previously spent a decade leading strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley startups to accelerate business transformation and innovation at Premera Blue Cross. Dr. Quint provides a unique perspective with her PhD expertise in Organizational Psychology. She is passionate about inclusion at work and is an advocate for lifelong learning for all.
Mr. Mike Kelly
Mr. Kelly was appointed to the Board in March 2014. Mr. Kelly is the Vice President of ASKO Processing, Inc. in Seattle. He is active in the National Association of Surface Finishers, Vice Chair of Industry Government Relations Committee; Past President of Washington State Association of Metal Finishers, Executive Board Member of the Seattle Manufacturing Industrial Council, Board Scouts of America Chief Seattle Council Training Chairman, Chairman of Friends of Olympic Trail Shelters. He received his AA Degree from Skagit Valley College, Mount Vernon, WA.
Mr. Norman Seabrooks
Mr. Seabrooks was appointed to the Board in February 2022. He grew up in Pahokee Florida, a small farming community on the eastern shore of Lake Okeechobee. At Pahokee High School he lettered in football, baseball and track and field, and became the first African American to earn an athletic scholarship when he also became the first African American scholar athlete in the history of the Citadel. Norm is a 1973 Dean's list graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in history. He was a defensive tackle on the 1972 Southern Conference all-conference team, the first African American Co-Captain of the football team, and South Carolina State Player of the year. In 1994, Norm was inducted into The Citadel Athletic Hall of Fame. Joining Aetna as a member of the 1973 summer Group School he went on to serve in various sales and leadership positions during his 47-year career. He retired in June of 2020 as the only African American Market President in a 300,000-employee fortune 500 company. Norm previously served on the board of the Washington Athletic Club, and the Washington Vaccine Association. He currently serves on the Board of the University of Washington Graduate Program in Health Services Administration.
Ms. Angie Hinojos
Ms. Hinojos is the Executive Director and co-founder of Centro Cultural Mexicano in Redmond. Angie is a Trustee for Cascadia College, serves as Chair of the Washington State Commission on Hispanic Affairs, serves on the Washington State Pandemic After Action Review Taskforce, and is a passionate advocate for social and racial justice. She received a degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley and utilizes her experience as a public artist to strengthen community bonds. As a community organizer, Angie has focused on equity in education to increase access to higher education for underserved communities.

All meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month. The meetings begin at 4:00 pm and take place in the board room (CC2-260) at Cascadia College, 18345 Campus Way NE, Bothell, WA.
