Come Play: Digital Poetics and QR Code Aesthetics

You will find a map with crosshairs, identifying the locations on campus where you will find a site-specific QR Code, which is the gateway to a video poem, a poetic soundscape, an animated gif poem, or poems delivered in other mediums, all created by students in English 274 (a Poetry Writing class taught by Jessica Ketcham Weber) and housed on the blog https://classroompress.wordpress.com (note that the poems have been hidden from being accessed directly through this home page for now; you'll need to start scanning around campus to access the literary musings!) Students have annotated our campus in a sense, responding to particular places and their contexts—a hand sanitizer pump, an elevator, the parking garage, and the smoking area, for instance.
