Chris Byrne PhD

Physics 

Dr. Chris Byrne received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, a Master of Science in Engineering and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, all from the University of Washington in Seattle. The focus of her doctorate work was in the field of Virtual Reality, with an emphasis on its use as an educational tool. She has worked in industry and in research, including IBM, USWest, JPL, Philips Research Labs, and a few start-up ventures. Her academic interests include hands-on learning in the fields of physics and math.
