Christopher Gildow

Art

Christopher Gildow is a full time tenured art faculty member at Cascadia College. He earned his MFA from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and is active in curriculum development. He received a Gates Foundation grant to develop an Open Course Library digital textbook for the Introduction to Art course. 

Chris Collaborates with colleagues in developing quality integrated learning experiences to advance student learning and success. He received an Excellence in Teaching award from the National Society of Leadership and Success in 2012 and directs the Mobius Art Gallery. Chris is a board member for Centro Cultural Mexicano in Redmond Washington and has an advisory role in the placement of public art on the Cascadia/UWB campuses.

His own creative work includes printmaking, painting, sculpture and photography.
