Kelley Briles has been an English Language Instructor for over 20 years. She has taught middle school and high school students and adults. She began teaching English and training teachers in Chad, Africa for four years through the Peace Corps. Upon returning to the US, Kelley obtained her Master of Education Degree in TESOL from The George Washington University in Washington, DC and then taught in both Washington DC and Chicago. Kelley moved to Washington State in 2011, and she has been teaching at Cascadia College ever since. She enjoys teaching all levels of English and tries to make her classes fresh and fun, while keeping the goal of preparing students for the future at the center of her work. Kelley speaks French, German and some Spanish. She loves engaging with students from around the world, learning about other cultures, and traveling as often as she can.
