Join the Kodiak Cave in our virtual cooking class! We will be making PUMPKIN PIE – a classic American holiday recipe! Fear not for you vegan and vegetarians (and gluten free and any other folks with dietary restrictions) out there, we accommodate to any need. All ingredients are provided for free to students; please sign up before November 14th @ 11.59pm.

International Programs Tabling: Learn About Different Cultures

Come and get to know the International Programs’ student workers better by understanding what kinds of food they love as part of their cultural backgrounds! Come and learn some new recipes, and get entered into a raffle to win a prize from the International Programs (IP) office that you can’t get anywhere else! If you can’t come in person, check the IP office social media to share about your own culture and be entered to win the prize.

COIL Grant Info Session

Learn about the Global Exchange Academy being offered by Green River College in 2022. In this program, Community and Technical College faculty from Washington and Oregon will be matched with an international faculty partner and receive customized COIL training. Each faculty pair will work together to create and embed high-quality, accessible virtual exchange components into credit-based courses, with a goal of teaching their COIL course together in the 2022-23 academic year.

Adaptation Conversations: “Pedagogy in a Global Pandemic

Cascadia faculty, join this open discussion time along with a panel of your Global Education Committee (GEC) faculty colleagues to reflect on how to adapt and prepare for more in-person teaching and how to incorporate the subject of the global pandemic in the classroom in a sensitive but thorough way.
