Computing Services

Cascadia College's Information Services Department acquires, develops and maintains technologies to help students, faculty and staff at Cascadia achieve success.

Cascadia students have access to computers with either current Windows or Macintosh OS X operating systems in classrooms, the Learning Center and breakout areas throughout campus. Software applications that are available for use include Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Autodesk Design Suite. Many of these software applications are also available from off campus via the Views offered to both students and employees from any web browser, on any personal device.

Cascadia classrooms are equipped with ePodiums enabling instructors to enhance the classroom experience with multimedia presentations. All classrooms have in room Assistive Listening Systems, with the newest rooms being furnished with the latest Seinnheiser MobileConnect system that allows students to use their own personal devices to stream classroom lectures.

The Information Services Help Desk offers an extensive list of technology related services including video editing stations, technology assistance and equipment check-out for students and employees.
