Environmental Stewardship Environmental Stewardship

Cascadia was literally built on the principle of environmental stewardship: Buildings on the 128-acre campus overlook a 58-acre wetland restoration project. Other ways that Cascadia promotes responsible environmental stewardship include:

  • Three degrees in environmental technologies and sustainable practices
  • Learning communities”:  Courses that examine themes across disciplines, such as government and environmental science
  • Commitments to reducing the campus’s environmental impact, including protection of water quality and salmon habitat
  • Events with speakers on topics related to sustainability
