Next year, Cascadia will be partnering with the Department of State’s CBYX program to host exchange students from Germany and we are looking for people interested in hosting our new student, Sophie.

Hosting an exchange student is a great opportunity  for you and your family to make a difference in your community. Hosting  promotes mutual cultural understanding by bringing different nationalities together to share ideas and compare values.  A wide variety of hosts are invited to participate: families, single adults, empty nesters, young couples, and more!

Below is some information about Sophie and the role her host family will play in her study abroad experience.  If you are not sure if hosting is right for you, we would appreciate your help in spreading the word and passing this along to all of your friends, family, and  community members interested in the opportunity to build a lifelong international friendship and lasting memories.
