Financial Aid helps you and/or your parents to meet basic educational expenses for an academic degree, a professional technical degree, or a certificate program. While the primary responsibility for paying for college rests with you and your family, Cascadia offers many resources to help you.
The Kodiak Corner Front Counter can assist you with general financial aid questions and collect basic financial aid forms. To check your financial aid status online and view what is required to complete the financial aid process, check updates or additional information requested, or to view your financial aid award, visit the Financial Aid Portal site. For in depth information about your financial aid record, you may check in at the Kodiak Corner Front Counter to see the financial aid on duty counselor.
Cascadia administers Financial Aid in accordance with established state and federal regulations and policies.

The Student Financial Services staff is dedicated to processing files timely. Files are processed in date order by your file complete date, which can be viewed on the Portal. Our processing time frame is 9-11 weeks from your file complete date, or the time in which we begin awarding for the academic year (July 1 – June 30), whichever date is later. During peak processing times (typically Summer and Fall quarters) when there is a high volume of students to award, processing time increases. During these time periods, please allow 9-11 weeks for your file to be processed.
**Please note that our office typically begins to process files for each new academic year in approximately mid-June.
We encourage you to check the Portal frequently for any updates or information we may ask or need from you, or to review your financial aid awards once your file has been awarded. We ask that you limit your phone calls and emails to our office as much as possible to allow us more time to process your file.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work diligently to process your financial aid requests!

Quarterly Consideration Deadline: College’s tuition due date for the quarter
*Applicants who meet the priority deadline will have access to more sources of eligible funding. If you are applying after April 15th, please complete your file as soon as possible. The quarterly deadline to receive a tuition hold is the College’s published tuition deadline. To receive a tuition hold, a student must submit all necessary documents required by the College or Department of Education by the quarterly tuition deadline. In order to allow enough time to be notified of the documents that are needed to complete your file, you should complete the steps below at least a week before the tuition deadline for the quarter(s) in which you want to attend. Those who apply after the tuition deadline for their first quarter of enrollment or reinstatement must pay their tuition at the time of registration, and will be reimbursed, if eligible and if funds remain available.
The Financial Aid Office will be closed every Wednesday through the fall quarter except for 12/3 and the week of November 10-14 for processing high volumes of financial aid applications.
Check the Kodiak Corner page for more closure dates and info.
