College student leaving home and going to school

   Greetings from Cascadia College!

We look forward to the opportunity to welcome your son or daughter to our campus community.

Going away to college is a big adjustment not only for students, but also for their parents. Your relationship with your son or daughter is changing. While your college student will still need your support and guidance, it will be at a different level as well as from a distance. Please know that we also will be here to help guide your son or daughter to success.

At Cascadia, we put students and their needs at the center of all we do. We understand that international students have unique needs and concerns. The knowledgeable, friendly staff members in our International Programs Office are very experienced in assisting international students with everything they need to be successful.

A college education in the United States is one of the best investments you can make in your child’s future.  We hope you will explore our International Programs web pages to learn more about how your son or daughter can begin the road to success at Cascadia College.

If you accompany your student to Cascadia College for orientation, make sure to attend special " Parent Orientation" session.
