Cascadia Network Account

A Cascadia Network Account gives you access to the many services Cascadia provides over the campus network.

Getting Started

Students

Your account is usually created within four weeks before you start your first class at Cascadia (i.e. if you are registered for Fall, you will get your account information four weeks prior to the start of Fall quarter). You will get an email to the email address you used for enrollment/registration with your user name included and the pattern for your starting/default password.  If you find that your account was not created or you have other issues, please contact the Help Desk for further assistance.

Faculty and Staff

Your supervisor gives you your account information when you begin work at Cascadia. See below if you need to change or reset your password.

Look up your student account name

When on campus and you don't know your current password:

Visit the Help Desk. We will need to verify your identity so please come prepared with a valid student, employee or other photo ID.

From any web browser on or off campus:

  • Contact the Help Desk using chat during our posted open hours.
  • Select Account or Password Assistance as the type of support you are seeking.
  • Be prepared to provide your first and last name, ctcLink ID and be able to answer 2-3 additional questions so that we can verify your identity.

Change or reset your network password

When on campus and you remember your current password:

  • Reset your password at a campus computer.
  • Hold down both the Ctrl and Alt keys and press the Delete key.
  • Click the “Change Password” button. The “Change Password” window will appear.
  • If the “Log on to” drop down box does not show the correct choice, Student or Employee, click the arrow and make the correct choice.
  • Follow the instructions onscreen to change your password. The new password that you create must follow the strong password guidelines.

If you know your current password, use the Office 365 password reset function. Use one of the two documents below to complete the process of setting that up if you haven't yet:

If you do not know your current password, please visit the Help Desk support chat during our posted open hours to get assistance.   Please be prepared to provide your first and last name, ctcLink ID and be able to answer 2-3 additional questions so that we can verify your identity.  Once we have provided you with a new password, you will need to complete the steps above so that you can use self-service password reset in the future.  The new password that you create must follow the strong password guidelines.
