Shawna Pitts

Shawna is currently leading the Finance and Facilities/Capital Projects departments at Cascadia College. 

In her 30 years working in the hospitality industry, Shawa developed a portfolio of skills -- from finance and facilities management to customer service and staff training and development. 

After 25 years as a hotel general manager, she sought a career change that brought her to Cascadia College, where she has been instrumental in the opening of Innovation Hall and in the design process for the college's Gateway Building.

Shawna is originally from Arizona. She received a B.A. in Hospitality Management at Northern Arizona University and an M.A. in Education from the University of Washington - Bothell.
