Mission

The Health and Wellness Resource Center (HaWRC) exists to connect students to resources both in the community and on campus. Through a partnership with the United Way Benefits Hub, we provide

  • FAFSA/WASFA and scholarship application assistance
  • Health insurance enrollment
  • Food and utility assistance
  • Reduced fare buss passes (ORCA Lift)
  • Financial coaching
  • Homelessness prevention and housing navigation
  • And more

We serve both Cascadia College and UW Bothell students!

The HaWRC team has created two new sites where you can access up to date resources, as well as interactive programming. These sites are where you'll find online workshops, opportunities to engage with others on campus, and more.

For HaWRC information in general, Benefits Hub, or Violence Prevention programs, visit the new HaWRC site.

For programs from the HEROs, visit the HEROs new site.

Free Tax Prep

The tax preparation site hosted by United Way on the UWB/Cascadia campus is being closed for the remainder of the tax season. If you still need tax assistance, please visit the My Free Tax site, where those simple returns can file their taxes for free.

For appointments with the Benefits Hub, drop in during our business hours, or schedule an appointment for a time that is convenient for you.
