Dr. Eric Murray



Dr. Eric Murray joined Cascadia in 2010 after 18 years of combined service to U.C.L.A., the University of Montana, and North Idaho College. He has led Cascadia through periods of substantial enrollment growth as well as the growth of its infrastructure, including the 2024 state of the art STEM building known as Innovation Hall. He works to provide a solid platform for students to begin their higher education career by advocating for Cascadia in the state capital, in the community, and with our co-located university partner, the University of Washington Bothell.

Since 2010, Eric has served in various leadership roles including chair of the Washington Association of Community and Technical Colleges and he has served on the executive committees of The Bothell-Kenmore Chamber of Commerce, One Redmond, and Leadership Eastside.

Dr. Murray earned Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Germanic Languages, a Master’s degree in Psychology, and a Doctorate in Psychology from U.C.L.A.
