Monica He (she/her) - Graphic Designer
I graduated from Bothell High School. I chose to attend Cascadia because it’s close to home, and I liked how much academic and social support it offered students. My advice for new students is the faculty and staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic about working with new people, so don’t be afraid to seek them out when you have questions – they want to help you! After Cascadia, I want to earn a Bachelor’s in Information Science and go on to graduate school. My hobbies and interests include reading webtoons, street dancing (I cannot dance.. I just like watching), and documentaries. If I could be a superhero, my superpower would be time control. I could stop time to sleep as much as I want, or rewind time if I do something embarrassing and want to not do that again. I’ve been watching a show about people with supernatural abilities called “Moving” recently, so I think flying would be cool too. I don’t have a favorite snack since I will eat almost anything, but I have been eating a lot of scorched rice crackers these days. Email me at mhe@cascadia.edu.
Hiya Mehta (she/her) - Outreach & Marketing
I am a running start student from Inglemoor High School in Kenmore. I chose to attend Cascadia because a lot of my friends who were also doing running start were going there. My advice for new students is to make friends and don’t be afraid to talk to someone, it will make school a lot more fun. After Cascadia, I want to transfer to UW Seattle. My hobbies include watching tv, movies, and listening to music. If I could be a superhero, my superpower would be teleportation. My favorite snacks are chips and chocolate. Email me at hmehta@cascadia.edu.
Julianna Lin (she/her) – Outreach & Marketing
I am a running start student from Woodinville High School. I chose to attend Cascadia because I had always heard about how great running start is through friends, so it just made sense to come here. My advice for new students is to get involved with the Cascadia community! It makes school so much more enjoyable. After Cascadia, I want to go into a career in UX or UI. My hobbies include reading, dance, and watching tv. If I could be a superhero, my superpower would be teleportation. My favorite snacks are gummy bears and strawberries. Email me at jlin@cascadia.edu.
Selina Wu (she/her) - Outreach & Marketing
I studied at the No. 3 Senior High School in Shenzhen, China. I chose to attend Cascadia because my brother used to study in Cascadia and he thought Cascadia was super great and worthy. Then I also came to join this big family. My advice for new students is to make more friends! Joining clubs and attending the events; you will find joyful things in there. After Cascadia, my plan is to transfer to UBC and study business in the future. My hobbies include playing golf and the violin. To be honest, I enjoy all sport activities. I also love fashion and shopping, and that’s what I do in my spare time. If I could be a superhero, I want to be Iron Man, so that I can have exhaustless money for saving people. My favorite snack is honey flavored chips. Email me at jwu@cascadia.edu.
