Cascadia College Foundation Scholarships

Thanks to generous donations from businesses, individuals, families, professional and community organizations, and friends of the college, Cascadia's Foundation offers many scholarships for Cascadia students. All Cascadia students and prospective students, domestic and international, are encouraged to apply.

Applications for the 2024-25 Fall Cycle are being accepted through Friday, October 18, 2024. Applicants will be notified of the result of their application no later than the 1st week in November.

Cascadia College Foundation Scholarships



  1. Register at AwardSpring.
  2. Complete the online scholarships application. This will include:
    • Answering all application questions
    • Uploading your most recent unofficial Cascadia transcript or your most recent high school or non-Cascadia transcript
    • Completing a short, written essay (around 600 words) or uploading a video of yourself addressing the essay questions
    • Digitally signing your application

Important: Applications are incomplete and will not be considered without your digital signature, transcript, and essay or video.

Foundation scholarships are available for students who do not apply for state/federal assistance. To ensure that you are considered for all financial assistance available to you, we do recommend that you complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and/or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). Contact Cascadia's Student Financial Aid Office for guidelines and deadlines.

Eligibility Information

All Cascadia students are encouraged to apply.

Who is Eligible?

  • 2024-25 Academic Year.Recipients must enroll in courses at Cascadia College during the 2024-25 academic year. If you do not plan to enroll at Cascadia during this period, please do not apply for a scholarship.
  • Running Start Students.If you completed Running Start during the 2023-24 academic year and intend to enroll at Cascadia as a general student during the 2024-25 academic year you are eligible.

Who is Not Eligible?

  • Running Start Students.If you are enrolled in the Running Start program for the 2024-25 academic year you are not eligible to apply.

General Application Information & Privacy

  • Self-Identify: Some application questions ask you to “self-identify” regarding information that our donors and sponsors care about and wish to support through their scholarships. Your selection(s) allow us to match your application with the most appropriate award(s). Please consider your selections thoughtfully.
  • Enrollment: Plan on enrolling in a minimum of ten (10) credits for any quarter you intend to use your scholarship funds from the Foundation.
  • Privacy: We protect your privacy. By completing the application, you authorize the Foundation to share the information provided on your application with selection committee members without your further consent.

Award Information & Disbursement

  • You accept all responsibility for any impact a Foundation scholarship award may have on your financial aid package. Cascadia's Student Financial Services Office will be informed of your receipt of this award.
  • Many scholarships are awarded based on criteria other than financial need, therefore scholarships are available for students who are not eligible for federal assistance.
  • Generally, award disbursement begins the first quarter you enroll. If awarded a scholarship, your disbursement preferences will be collected at the time you accept your scholarship.
  • Scholarship funds are released to student accounts after the last day to drop classes (10th day).
