Cascadia College Foundation Scholarships
Thanks to generous donations from businesses, individuals, families, professional and community organizations, and friends of the college, Cascadia's Foundation offers many scholarships for Cascadia students. All Cascadia students and prospective students, domestic and international, are encouraged to apply.

Fall 2025-2026
Applications for the 2025-26 Fall Cycle are being accepted through Friday, October 10. Applicants will be notified of the result of their application by October 28, 2025.

Application
Process
- Register at AwardSpring.
- Complete the online scholarships application.
- Answer all required questions.
- Complete short-form essays for financial circumstances, academic and/or career goals, volunteering and community services – and the long-form “what inspires you” essay.
- Upload your most recent unofficial Cascadia transcript or your most recent high school or non-Cascadia transcript.
- Digitally sign and submit your application.

We encourage students to also apply for state/federal assistance to ensure that each student can receive any financial assistance available to them. Please consider completing and submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and/or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). Eligibility Information
All Cascadia students are encouraged to apply.
Who is Eligible?
Applicants must:
- Intend to enroll at Cascadia College during the 2025-2026 academic year (July 2025 - June 2026).
- Plan on enrolling in a minimum of ten (10) credits for any quarter you intend to use your Foundation scholarship funds.
Running Start Student Eligibility
Running Start Students who will complete their program AND intend to continue at Cascadia as a general student during the 2025-26 academic year are eligible. (e.g., if you complete Running Start Winter Quarter then take classes as a general student Spring Quarter).
General Application Information & Privacy
- Privacy: We protect your privacy. By completing the application, you authorize the Foundation to share the information provided on your application with selection committee members without your further consent.
- Self-Identify: Some application questions ask you to “self-identify” regarding information that our donors and sponsors care about and wish to support through their scholarships. Your selection(s) allow us to match your application with the most appropriate award(s). Please consider your selections thoughtfully.
- Enrollment: Plan on enrolling in a minimum of ten (10) credits for any quarter you intend to use your scholarship funds from the Foundation.
Award Information & Disbursement
- Recipients accept all responsibility for any impact a Foundation scholarship award may have on their financial aid package. Cascadia's Student Financial Services Office will be informed of all awards.
- Many scholarships are awarded based on criteria other than financial need, therefore scholarships are available for students who are not eligible for federal assistance.
- Award recipients will provide their disbursement preferences at the time they accept their scholarship. Generally, award disbursements begin the first quarter. They may be made in lump sum or divided between quarters.
- Scholarship funds are released to student accounts after the last day to drop classes (10th day) – and may not be visible in your student account.
