Ifrah Mohamed

Ifrah Mohamed serves as the Associate Vice President for Human Resources at Cascadia College, providing strategic oversight for campus HR operations, payroll, compliance, and Title IX/ADA coordination. She centers her executive leadership on human centered systems, strengthening workplace culture, and driving institutional stability so the entire campus community can flourish.

Ifrah's dedication to access and advocacy is deeply informed by her own educational path. As a first-generation immigrant who began her higher education journey in the community college system, navigating her path as an AVID Running Start student at San Diego Mesa College before transitioning to University of Washington Bothell, she brings a lived understanding of the transformative mission of two-year institutions. Throughout her executive and community leadership, she has consistently created frameworks for student and workforce success, serving as Founder and President of the African Student Association affinity group at University of Washington Bothell, directing STEM outreach as a Lead Instructor for the National Society of Black Engineers, and founding Amazon's inaugural Somali affinity group under the Black Employee Network.

Recognized as Mentor of the Year for her systemic impact, Ifrah brings this steadfast, mission driven approach to Cascadia every day, ensuring that compliance, equity, and operational excellence remain at the core of the employee experience.
