Community & Professional Engagement
- I go to Deaf events and attend to some of the local Deaf Agency events and some National Deaf Organizations & Deaf Associations
- I participated as a volunteer for numerous Deaf organizations as their fundraiser, public relations director, vice president, and president of a Deaf agency board. I did this for 10+ years.
Hobbies
I have a certified service dog, Luke. We've been partners for 11 years now. He attends the in-person classes but sometimes I leave him home. I love to cook, crafts, and yard work. I also teach at other colleges. I teach online.
