I've been with Cascadia since 2002. My motto is "Nothing is impossible" and "Keep on signing!" The two quotes means if one way doesn't work, try another way. Don't stop signing because you never know what will come your way.

Community & Professional Engagement

  • I go to Deaf events and attend to some of the local Deaf Agency events and some National Deaf Organizations & Deaf Associations
  • I participated as a volunteer for numerous Deaf organizations as their fundraiser, public relations director, vice president, and president of a Deaf agency board. I did this for 10+ years.

Hobbies

I have a certified service dog, Luke. We've been partners for 11 years now. He attends the in-person classes but sometimes I leave him home. I love to cook, crafts, and yard work. I also teach at other colleges. I teach online.
