I like to get my student's engaged. It's become normal, for students to come in, get given things to read, tasks to do, and papers to submit, that's the learn component. But I want my students to think and consider not just the what, but the why, and the why not. I want them to get into dialog on their positions with their peers, and myself.

- I work as a volunteer Systems Administrator, PHP Developer and a community manager for various organizations.
Hobbies
I'm an avid reader of Science Fiction and Fantasy, I enjoy Marvel Movies / TV Shows, The Various CSI / NCIS / FBI shows, spending time with my spouse of almost 16 years. I am an avid cook, and am fond of making meals for family and friends, as well as enjoying exploring food and wines from around the Puget Sound and Portland, OR regions.
